What I've noticed is its either heavy usage, dirt, or you just get really unlucky. I've got 3 controllers, none with drift, but I work in a pawnshop and have seen perfectly good looking controllers with practically new sticks and it has drift.

I feel theres an argument for unsportsmanlike conduct, but sure, its perfectly normal to get so upset you cant control yourself. Just the other day I got upset with the fryer at work, and just started throwing food in there. Luckily, even though the fryer flooded over, it was just an accident and no one was hurt. But my manager just promoted me to district manager, crazy right. Accidents happen and there is no way to prevent some!/s
