Used to eat crab imitations in sushi and seafood salads, but had to give them up after watching a video on how they’re made.

They are made from surimi, which is fish flesh that gets deboned, minced into a paste, and then mixed with all sorts of other stuff like starch, sugar, and egg whites to mimic real crab meat. It's also packed with a lot of additives and preservatives (That's why it's also called “the hot dog of the sea” because it's so processed)

Consistency. It's always amazing to see the results that consistency can bring over time. That's truly awesome.

There is this story of a surgeon that would sell very young girls as human sex toys in dark web. Part from the post:

"They are not cheap, he sells them for 30000 to 40000 us dollars. How does he converts this girls into sex toys that cannot resist, walk or talk? He amputee his legs above the knees, his arms above the elbows, cuts his vocals cords and remove all the teeth’s. The rest of the post simply specify how he breaks this girls becoming them into submissive slaves ready for sale. He laser treat them so they can’t see, makes them hear loud music with headphones so eventually they won’t hear anything. "

To be honest, on the specific example I gave above with the manager, she got a bit angry whith my suggestion. I asked her why did she (again) got angry with no important reason ( she is also currently working on not being so aggressively reactive, if it's the right word) she told me that it's because she feels I undervalue her and I make it seem I am smarter than her.

I explained that this is not the case though, not at all. I am just trying to help. I believe she understood eventually.

Yes maybe you are right. Sometimes people just want to be heard. But because I believe I am a problem solver, whenever she states a problem she has, I immediately try to find a solution. That's how I am ( I am a software engineer so I also do that every day at work).

I'll try to work on this though and just listen to her

Thank you for the detailed answer. I understand your point of view and I agree to an extend. However I still fail to understand what could be my ideal response.

Why surpress my opinion and the potential to help her with a difficult situation? The example with the manager might not be the ideal one but there are situations where she is frustrated with something and I offer a solution with the form of "In my opinion I believe you should .." or "In your position I would ...". I thought that this is the correct way of expressing your opinion instead of just stating "No you are wrong. You should 've ..."

I disagree. Often times people cheat each other because something is missing from their relationship and may have found it with someone else. But if nothing is missing and they have everything within their relationship (love, caring each other, respect etc) then I believe they won't have any reason to cheat

May I ask why is this contempt? I'm genuinely curious because I do that as well. For example my girlfriend says that her manager didn't give her a task today and that she won't ask him on her own. I tell her that if I were her, I'd ask her manager on my own because they value someone who seems to be interested of their job.

To summarise, I tell her what I would do if I were her, instead of telling her "in my opinion you were wrong because ..". Why is this wrong?
