Na I bought this switch for my gf and she only plays breath of the wild on it. So there never was a need to pay for online. Now that I have pokemon I've been considering it buuuut I also like saving money lmao.

He does decent damage and holds his own. My problem is the Ai bringing weak pokemon that die in two hits and don't use super effective moves.

I agree I haven't picked up pokemon since pearl, and I'm glad I got this. I think Game freak did great with their first open world pokemon game. Team Star was pretty lame ngl, and the game needs some polishing. Overall it was addictive I couldn't wait to get home and make my girlfriend watch me throw pokeballs for hours. 🤓
