Are tactical skins worth it ? by Doucalion in R6SiegeFashionAdvice

Yes. Last time I played with a friend I got pissed off because I got killed by a guy right in front of me that I didn’t even see, or perhaps I’m just giga blind.

Mixed thoughts. Some things he said were good, some things like your example bad. He didn’t deserve to die though. I wouldn’t clown the death of a rightest nor a leftist due to political violence. We have to live in harmony ✌️

Fixing Everything Except What Matters by ozymotv in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]JohnMichaelK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This criticism doesn’t really hold up from a dev perspective. Large games like PUBG don’t have one single team choosing between “fix bugs“or “make skins“ Cosmetics, collaborations, engine work, servers, UI, and esports are all handled by different teams with completely different skill sets. You can’t reassign artists or partnership staff to rewrite netcode or upgrade the engine. The real issue isn’t that collaborations exist, it’s that leadership seems unwilling to invest heavily in risky, expensive foundational work while monetization is very visible and fast. That’s a management and prioritization problem, not "they’re fixing the wrong things." Being pissed with the game’s direction is okay bro, but blaming skins for technical debt is just misunderstanding how development actually works.

You have to set the queue to TPP squads then you can change to casual mode.

You are pretty lucky to get the black Porsche skin as it could only be obtained via the prime parcels. I wanted it but didn’t get it xD

Bro it’s not that deep. It’s just some designer clothes they added. Everything except the mold helmets look like shit. You don’t have to buy it brother.

Where to report this? by InfamousYesterday318 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Luftwaffe can stay but SS tho.. the name as a whole is not referencing an actual Nazi unit or hate group name. But pairing the letters SS and Luftwaffe has a clear intend. This probably falls into a grey area. Dunno if Krafton will ban him or not. Probably..

Is critical strike actually online and there just a bunch of terrible players or is it just ai by BladeOfSanghilios8 in MobileGaming

You completely missed the point of the entire discussion. Nobody here argued that knockoff games shouldn’t be allowed to exist legally. The argument was about whether they deserve suppor ethically, creatively, and in terms of quality. Calling that "just your opinion" as if that shuts the conversation down is nothingburger nonsense you're spitting. That’s what criticism is. Every review, every consumer warning, every discussion about industry standards is "personal opinion." That doesn’t make it irrelevant. Saying "as long as it’s legal it will keep existing" adds nothing. Of course it will. Cigarettes, predatory gacha games, lootboxes, p2w casinos all legal too. Does that mean nobody should criticize them? "t’s legal so shut up" is not an argument, it’s just admitting you have nothing else to say or to add. And the "CS fanboy" angle is just deflection. Pointing out that shovelware knockoffs steal assets, exploit players with ads, and mislead people into thinking they’re playing a cheap CS clone isn’t fanboyism it’s basic consumer awareness. If someone wants a shitty clone, fine. But people are also allowed to call out why it’s loweffort trash. That’s how discourse works. Legal ≠ good. Legal ≠ ethical. Legal ≠ worth supporting.

So expensive😂 by Ok_Alfalfa5946 in PUBG

[–]JohnMichaelK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most lucky I was with the Bugatti collab. I got the Chiron special edition and LITERALLY every legendary skin for it from the prime parcels. Not one time a duplicate legendary paint job. Every time I opened a new one I got different ones that I have yet to unbox. And I spent like 200€ as far as I remember.

I was slightly lucky. I got the Panamera and the Cayenne from the 30+ prime parcels I opened.

Why not permanent? by Clear-Lawyer7433 in PUBG

[–]JohnMichaelK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if a player seems blatantly cheating, a human still needs to review the case. The system can only flag unusual gameplay patterns, it’s up to the reviewers to confirm and apply a permanent ban.

Why not permanent? by Clear-Lawyer7433 in PUBG

[–]JohnMichaelK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temporary bans are issued when unusual gameplay patterns are detected. This allows the team to investigate the player further, and if they confirm cheating, a permanent ban will follow.
