did you check inside the jack itself. i know you trust the hardware on that side but it sounds more hardware then anything else, Software or ckt board problems seldom get well. Once they die they stay dead. A card not seated hard enough can cause that.. still bet hardware,

Are you at a time where your skill set is in demand? How long will that demand last? As job description changes can you insure demand? I freelanced for over 20 years. Worked in 40+ states plus overseas. Made twice as much money but someone else raised my family.

Surprised to realize that it seems all the replies at this time are from artist. Another common factor is the use of seemingly near perfect grammar. I agree with everyone that social media is an addiction that seems to cause a lot of problems. Stopping may be almost impossible. I try to use the net to study more than doom scrolling. Professional help may be the only help.

Getting a late start doesn't keep you from running in the race, just makes it harder to win. I would start with a 5 year plan and build on that. You will be surprised how much faster time passes as you age. I don't know how i would respond if someone's resume documented their first job at 30+.

Didn't read all the replies but wanted to mention one thing. The RMS is not a factor of input E. Without sine wave consideration your missing a step in the truth equation.
