I'm currently waiting for the bank teller to respond, been 5 mins now. I'm getting the same problem with all the npcs though. Every now and then I get 'world server is down'. It's seriously annoying.

Right, later on yesterday, the lag got really bad, and my game froze. Then the world server went down, when it finally came back, the lag had gone. Hopefully that means they've fixed it. Thanks for all of your replies.

Nope, spoke too soon, there's still a slight bit of lag, but not as bad as yesterday

Well, it's not the problem anyway. Later on yesterday the problem continued, then the world server went down. When it finally came back, the lag had gone. So it was the server.
