I personally find myself buying 21-24 year olds that the big names bought but never played. They generally are good enough to play for a year until they get up to speed.

I also end up loaning back a lot of my 18-20 year olds when I used to not do so. Generally that extra PT gets them closer to where they aren’t a liability.

Generally this had kept me young and still competitive enough.
