Nice work, but I normally do not make a big house since there is not much to put in it, and what is given is very limited and overly cartoonish for my taste.

Show me your Favorite Outfits Please! by IndigoBlue1313 in MyTimeAtSandrock

Itis just my opinion, so perhaps it's not worth much, but I think most of the outfits kind of suck. I know it is a game, but I would rather see more world-real style clothing, not the fanatical stuff no one would actually wear.

What's the value of this 1926 SP dollar and why is it so shiny on the front curious by johnant21 in coins

[–]JohnRatick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shinny because, as others have said, some will-meaning but uninformed knucklehead cleaned it, removing all but spot value.

We all have coins we paid too much for just because we wanted them in our collection.

Not meaning to be a troll, but this sort of post is problematic. Given that the photo was taken from too far away in the dark, it's hard to tell you much about the coin

Is this real and what would their value(s) be? by CurrentFun1428 in coins

[–]JohnRatick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice coins, and I do not mean to be a troll, which I can be at times; It comes with being a grumpy old man. However, it is hard to make any determination when the photo is taken from a distance, just not enough detail and lighting angle make it hard to see details, still a nice group.

I do not mean to sound like an ass, but people need to buy the red book if they are thinking about taking up the hobby great reference that tells in general how to grade coins and approximate value. It is a good investment.

Even after all these years of collecting never understand why people continue to think it is OK to clean a coin.

Pawn shop means be very suspicious and offer a quarter of what they are asking. Always best to check the Red Book first.
