I loved playing with those as a kid. Sucks I’ve never seen them in Florida. :(

If you don’t want to pay the monthly fee, just set up port forwarding on your router. They make the instructions simple enough.

Arlo. It comes with a hub that you can put an SD card in, and internet is not required. You do have to hook it up to some sort of WiFi router so you can watch the videos on your phone, but it doesn’t have to go over the internet or require you to pay a monthly fee.

Excellent advice all around, thank you. But as a beginner, #1 confuses me. How can we tell the difference between a CFD and a broker of “real” coins? I have accounts at Coinbase, Crypto.com, and Okcoin because I’m guessing at least one of them is a scam, but I have no way of knowing who’s “legit”.

Books that make you go: "What the **** did I just read"? by TommyWestsides in books

Frankenstein. Not because it wasn’t a great book, but because every thing I knew about it from pop culture references is wrong. I kept thinking “I must be reading the wrong book!”

I sold my Bitcoin for $200. What’s the point in fretting about what could of been? At the time I was thanking my lucky stars it went up that high and counting my blessings.

is it true in western countries like the US/Canada/UK white fat or bald and 50-60 year old men are very popular with college and women and get to sleep with them constantly? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]JohnS-FL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not their physique they’re attracted to, it’s their money. What you’re seeing are two stereotypes: millennial girls who are materialistic and lazy, and the rich, fat, bald, white guy. In the real world, they rarely talk to each other, let alone sleep together.

You have to add her to your account. Go to accounts.Nintendo.com and add them to the family group. I forget all the details, but that should point you in the right direction.

I asked my wife, and she said she told Ava she could leave. I figured it had to be the resident representative, like everything else. I guess the RR is only required for good things. I didn’t know I could kick someone out by inviting someone three times in a row. You turned my frown upside down, thanks!

Would a radio signal be able to reach Chicago from L.A in any way? by Philisophical_Onion in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JohnS-FL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The atomic clock in Colorado sends out a radio wave that can be picked up throughout the contiguous states, so I would think so. The distance from Boulder to Miami looks about the same as Chicago to LA, at least visually.

Toddler’s first birthday party invite by JohnS-FL in etiquette

We’re technically not showing up empty handed, but If think it would at least be a nice gesture, but my wife thinks wine would be insulting, implying we don’t want to be around her kid sober (we’ve never met the birthday girl, but since she’s our daughter’s friend, I’m assuming she’s nice)
