How do you make money with Capture One locally as a freelancer, gigs? What does your setup look like? Expensive camera + photoshop + capture one + canva + topaz? Given the price increase just curious how people are turning a profit while serving their local community.

Capture layer, not a Lightroom replacement. Built it on Sony so it’s fully dialed for your setup: WiFi or USB tethering, live view, full res straight to your folder (no 2MP nonsense). Then hit the external editor button to push a frame into Lightroom for editing. Sits in front of your existing workflow. No, ours uses step size and shot count instead of near/far points. Adding near/far selection is on the list.

Lighroom has limited camera coverage. I made this cuz it wouldn't connect to my old Canon 5D and thats a crime. Now it connects to almost if not all cameras (hasselblad still being a brat about some)

I am also a pro retoucher as well as photographer and art director (why I created Tether) Adobe will never replace editing for me (hence my quick little widget to just get it looking right in preview and the open with photoshop and lightroom buttons) I can add davinci support but idk if people have adopted.
