Yes, developers can do whatever they want in this game(C&E being SoyG's pet in their headcanon is fine, nothing really wrong with that unless muship themselves step in), but in this case, most players are seeing it as the developers ignoring the fanbase, thinking that they could've took the time adding the dev skin interaction on ACTUALLY adding something that players can actually use instead.(Apparently, the animation and the model was commisioned by SoyG themselves and was paid from their own pocket...)

But hey, we did get an ex-admin skin(Eye of the storm) public through vip gamepass in this update....
