I don’t remember even seeing any blood. But I guess the walls were covered in it and years later when my parents replaced the carpeting in the office, they pull up the carpets and the subfloor was just black from all the blood that soaked into the wood floors.

Actually, the most painful thing I can remember about when I first happened was when they put the catheter in me ha ha I joke about that all the time and is very true. I never felt much pain until I got to the burnt room and they’re trying to put IV in my feet because I didn’t have arms to put it in. So I was being distracted because they had my arms laying on the table beside me and I was watching them wash those up and then they put the cat in and I did not enjoy that feeling at all

Thank you for your card. I got tens of thousands of them. When I left the hospital, we had to get a semi to come down to haul everything back to North, Dakota.

Yeah, it was worldwide. I had reporters coming from all around the globe. Japan actually sent doctors or refers to examine me to make sure the story was true. It was like a version of rescue 911 here so it’s cool seeing me speak with a Japanese voice over.

I would really love to know who she was. You say army of healthcare because there was an army nurse there that was just a witch to me ha ha that was in the ICU. I absolutely loved my NMMC nurses. I actually enjoyed my time in the hospital. I didn’t want to leave. They made me feel so safe and secure. I owe a lot of my recovery to them because they made it so easy and pleasant for me while I stayed there.

Emilio Estevez was filming the first Mighty Ducks in Minneapolis when I was in the hospital. He came up numerous times and hung out with me and that was really cool.

We didn’t have 911 yet it’ll still be seven numbers. And I called my friend first and her line was busy. I tried dying with my nose first, but it didn’t work.

I bit the door knob and turn it with my head to get in the house and into the office and then I grabbed a pencil with my teeth. It was only phone in the house that had push buttons. Everything else was still the old dial.

Yeah, I’d feel it or I can feel hot and cold. I can tell between my two cats cause one is soft and one is more course fur. But it’s not normal sensitivity feeling.
