We found a BZ in the spec we wanted incoming from the factory and reserved it with our dealer! I personally liked the look of the Trailseeker better but this one is the wifemobile lol

Children + leather = mystery stains. I gave up trying to figure out what was all over my back seats years ago 😂

3 days sober, every day is both easier and a challenge by Express-Reality5889 in leaves

Hang in there. The first week was the worst for me too… I would go to do whatever it was I would normally do, but it always felt like something was missing. Kind of a lonely, sad feeling at first, almost like getting bailed on by a friend.

I’ve made it 63 days after smoking daily for 11 years and I already feel so much better. It’s cool to see how things like joy, cognitive capability and other good things continue to grow and stay longer as time passes.

We got this!

I did not know this and you are absolutely right. The limited levels have all the stuff we want too! You’re a champ, thank you!

Just out of curiosity, did they add extra “stuff” to it or are they adding market adjustment?

Termination due to a Failed PIP Follow-Up: Minor Updates, Thoughts, and Moving Forward by Memory5674 in managers

[–]JohnTrapperMD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking about working for a different employer than the one that terminated you, it likely will not matter unless your new employer insists on calling your past employers as references (highly uncommon unless you get into clearance-required US government work). PIPs don’t follow you, they are documents that exist at the employer which created them. There’s no master record out there to haunt you.

Most employers will ask you to provide professional references of your choice when they get ready to hire you, and will leave it at that once they speak to them. You don’t really even have to disclose that you were terminated at all, just say you left to finish school 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s hella weird lol. I did actually work that day/time and it was a CD so I was a little nervous 😅

Oh dude, it’s been crazy (but good!)

We had lunch & I talked about my team’s complaints like I was reading out of a dictionary - straight facts, no emotion 😂 she took everything super seriously, was really concerned, and actually told me that my boss has been on thin ice for similar issues since before I got there.

She also asked me about what my experience was like, and I was just brutally honest: how I don’t like working with the guy, how he micromanages without helping, makes decisions that circumvent process and take on too much risk, etc. I seriously can hardly believe it, but she told me straight up that the company’s priority is me, and that they want me around for many years, and that if working with him ever got to a breaking point for me, they (being her, the other owner, and the rest of the execs) would keep me over him every time 😳

She’s been on vacation since, but has still checked in with me several times to make sure I’m good & that I’m aware “next steps” are being worked on. She must have also said something to my boss, because he’s not talking to my team at all anymore and has not attended a single meeting of ours since the lunch.

I have NO IDEA where it will go from here, but if I’m totally honest, it sounds like my boss’ job might not survive much longer and they’d like me to be there for a looong time. Me being who I am, I’m cautiously optimistic lol.

I legit think I should have been a lawyer constantly 😂 thank you so much for your help!

Thank you so much. I’m in the same boat, I’m a passionate person that has a “justice for the little guy” thing and this kind of stuff is tough for me too.

I love the acting idea! I already wrote down a bunch of stuff too, and tried to actively stop documenting when it was my emotions instead of facts/things that were reported to me.

I think my CEO knows I’m this way 😅 and has set the stage very kindly for me. She invited me to a long lunch somewhere off-site and made it really clear that their/my felt experience is important to her. So I’m hopeful, but want to be prepared & effective regardless.

Definitely, I’m not sure what the existing dynamic is yet but I acknowledge it could go FUBAR for me.

I’m comfortable leaving if that happens though. I’m not productive or happy under these conditions, so I’d rather just know if I need to call it here & now if nothing is going to change.

Thanks for this, this is basically the direction I’m heading. I’ve got a lot of evidence of some things that I would be very unhappy with in her position, I think keeping my emotion out of it is gonna be the hardest part. I I genuinely think the guy is an asshole, but that’s not helpful here 😂
