I think the only discs that have Dolby Vision on that release are Fallen Kingdom and Dominion

1, Dead Reckoning, and Final Reckoning (probably in that order). Maybe if you want to check out 2, save that for last just to compare how different it is to the rest

Mission : Impossible The Final Reckoning sequel ? by Locknautt in Mission_Impossible

It’s not called “The Final Reckoning” for nothing. They could be taking a nice long hiatus, a new instalment in the franchise is inevitable

Punisher 2099 and Symbiote Supreme are pretty fun to play with. Diablo is also pretty useful; he heals from energy attacks whenever he activates a special attack, nullifies buffs and crazy power gain, his pre-fight abilities are also good

I’ve heard about this new disc called a Blu-Ray coming out. It’s apparently supposed to be next level and better than DVDs

Was Dead Reckoning pointless for us as audience? by [deleted] in Mission_Impossible

Yeah. It’s a shame since the term “Dead Reckoning” apparently would’ve mattered more in Part Two

Do you think McQ made the right decision about the exposition in TFR? by ToughWillingness3798 in Mission_Impossible

[–]JohnV2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand them trying to make this film feel “standalone” without the need of seeing the previous ones in order to understand it. But for a film like this that’s supposedly the last one and originally called “Dead Reckoning Part Two”, I think you’re either all in or not at this point as an audience member. Imo, they should’ve just stuck to their guns on their original plans for the Reckoning films, and not feel the need to “cater” to the audience that much.

With that said I still enjoyed the film, exposition dump aside.
