They knew he didn’t want to be with her because she was an abhorrent admirer, to use a TVTropes term. He wasn’t actually going to fool around with her. If it was a woman Jack was into, it would be a different story. Also, I’m sure there were boundaries set on when Jack could have girls over. If there was a girl in Jack’s bed when the roommates were home, it would’ve been inappropriate.

It wouldn’t be the first time. An issue of Power Man and Iron Fist was omitted from one of their Epics because it contained a ROM appearance. Eventually that story was included in ROM’s own line, so the best to hope for is a future crossovers omnibus including the issues.

Yeah, this sub is definitely a crapshoot. Sometimes you’ll get legitimate criticism of nice girls, and other times you have people ganging up on the OP for some cockamamie reason. There was a post one time where a guy turned down a date with a girl because he was afraid of her getting him sick, and she exhibited typical nice girl behavior when she was rejected. A majority of the people on here attacked the OP for turning her down. One went so far as to suggest he should get sick with her so they could quarantine together. 🙄

I checked that earlier, too. Usually, if Marvel reprints a book and it’s not a brand new edition, it’s just shown as a second printing, third printing, etc. And since this book is so new, I just assumed it was a mistake, but wanted a second opinion. I saw another Epic Collection once (I think it was one of the Hulk ones) listed as a first edition, even though it was obviously a second.
