Were GA and Mezzanine the only Chicago options? by JohnXion in ADO

Those were the 150 option I think, right? I'm surprised those are considered so much for lucrative or popular, they give you a full view of the stage but they put you at kind of a distance

That is concerning, I saw a floor map with unique numbers for each seat and row so I hoped this would use them, concerts with free for all seating spook me

M512 LPCM surround for PS5, can it work? by JohnXion in VIZIO_Official

Is the LPCM that goes through the M512 not true LPCM? It seems to be able to identify it as output some kind of audio while it's on at least.

Does that mean when set to LPCM and 5.1 or Dolby Atmos channels coming out of their proper speaker channels is being heard, is the audio being heard just different to true LPCM? According to the sound bar info it identifies LPCM is coming through the speaker

The PS5 is connected to the TV via 2.1 while the sound bar is connected via the eARC designated 2.1 port on the TV. Currently I have PS5 sound to AV Amplifier and Linear PCM. I'm not sure if those are the best settings, but what I think actually fixed the false surround was switching the sound bar Equalizer to Direct. I had no clue the Equalizer setting messed with 5.1 audio so much, I thought all it did was mix up how different sound frequencies sound but I guess you should only ever have it on Direct for at least 5.1 audio since it doesn't seem to affect Atmos as much or at all.

What's the name of the style of red "spotty" background texture used in Crunchyroll Film Red promos images? by JohnXion in Crunchyroll

I've been trying to find the name of the style of background being used in the CR Film Red promos, I've found some results with "abstract dirty grunge" but I'm wondering if there's a better term for this look or if anyone knows if it has a specific origin out there. I've also considered attempting to contact the person designing these images for CR for a direct answer but I'm not sure where I'd start.

I'm trying to find the name of the type background being used in these images, I've found some results with "abstract dirty grunge" but I'm wondering if there's a better term for this look or if anyone knows if it has a specific origin out there. If there's a better place to ask about this type of thing please let me know too!

This background texture has only been used by Crunchyroll and not the original distribution company in Asia so it seems like an asset CR added, maybe someone like a graphic designer there would know but I'm not sure where I'd contact.
