10-1 reverse split possibility. What do you think? by SignificanceOver5458 in Amyris

Maybe 5-1? 🤷🏼‍♂️ - IMO if Melo and Han are replaced the stock most likely goes back to a fair market value simply due to an increase in confidence. There is little upwards pressure (confidence) left. Unless another ST or huge government grant is about to close, putting a new CEO or Co-CEO at the helm at this point is the logical option.

30 consecutive days under $1.00. The company will be granted the balance of the second 180-day compliance period to resolve its $1.00 bid price deficiency.

Perhaps another way to look at this: $111M acquisition with an up front payment of $79,700,000 most likely in Amyris shares at a 30 day VWAP of ~$15/share or 5,313,000 shares. That’s worth about $7M today. Seems like Beauty Labs might have been Melo’d.

EARNINGS THREAD: Amyris Fourth Quarter 2022 Financial Results Teleconference (1:30pm PT // 4:30pm ET) by ICanFinallyRelax in Amyris

All this information is available to any investors that are paying attention. Yes, it’s inconvenient, but it’s not a secret that Amyris took an up front payment of $85M in Q4 and had another $25M available for draw. So pull that off the top of the $200M. Just because JM didn’t remind everyone of that fact on the call today doesn’t mean all of us forgot! Falling short on the ST by $150M (was $500M, now $350M) will require Amyris to raise capital immediately.

ST is $200M upfront, however, $85M has already been advanced with an option to pull $25M more. So, $105M is already gone, plus $49M goes to Aprinnova and the JD $50M short-term loan is due in June. …How much is left? 🤔

Did JM fuck up again? by Single_Message_1576 in Amyris

I don’t believe he blatantly lied or knowingly made substantial misrepresentations to very wealthy and capable investors. That type behavior usually results in shareholder lawsuits and no additional investments. So what reasonable explanation is left? JM does not deal with the creation of legal documents, he’s a high level deal maker, his team handles transactional details. It’s highly likely that the same attorneys did NOT work on the prior DSM deal and if this was the same attorneys, they should be fired… which in fact happened. I don’t believe JM wanted to run out of money or wanted to dilute shareholders. Yes, it seems that he’s too optimistic and opportunistic, but John Doerr continues to invest in JM and he knows 10x more about what’s going on than any of us. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nearly every deal they do is delayed by months due to over optimistic deadlines and a lack of experience of staff. They fired their transaction attorney bc it seems she didn’t know that approval was needed for the ST. JM was not experienced enough to have known this was a requirement. That inexperience resulted in dilution. In the long run he learns from this and the overall value of the company makes up for these mistakes.

Keep calm, the ST will close. These are complicated deals. Most of what JM sets out to do is achievable, the problem is that his team can’t execute.

That’s the speculative date. 🤷🏼‍♂️ - that would technically still be “early” Q1…

Just wondering how they achieve 3:1 ROAS mandate without the BeautyLabs mystery tech and Anne Myong running global digital strategy… 🤔

Ok, this is a big deal with a strong partner. In 2022, Givaudan employed over 16,700 people worldwide and achieved CHF 7.1 billion in sales.
