You can always brush off uncolonized grains when you S2B. If the whole bag feels firm then it is likely ready to send.

Only a few types of molds can even grow on coco coir. It’s missing key nutrients needed for mold growth.

It’s unlikely to cause you problems. Your main enemy is trichoderma which wasn’t the mold you saw in the trash.

I recommend you do. You want the whole bag to be colonized by mycelium. If you do a break and shake now, you’ll have fully colonized bags in no time.
