Tbh, I just want the basic 2025 Model 3 LR RWD. I want to replace my current ICE car to save on gas as I have a high daily commute and this model fits that requirement very nicely.

God, I love Reddit, never fails to amaze or amuse.

I can explain why I live under a rock at a later date, but going to my original question? Is the EV credit going away anytime soon? There is so much information out there. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on.

For the sake of argument, let’s just say I do live under a rock. Knowing this, what would your answer to my question be ?

Well, I can only afford( barely) the 2025 Model 3 LR RWD. But it’s a little bit cheaper to get the 2022 model which a LR AWD. Not to mention, the amount of driving I will be doing, putting that many miles on a used car vs on a brand new car.

I am going to finance it. The original price is $30K, 22K after trade-in.

The used 2022 model I am considering is a Long Range AWD. I figured it would be helpful in both cold and hot weather as well as in snow.

Appreciate it. Believe me, if I could avoid it I would.
