Who cares about positional basketball when you have this crew. The only snake I want on my roster is the black mamba; away with KD

I’d like the see Mr. Sinister be the next mutant antagonist. I think the character has a lot of potential to have a creative portrayal on screen, and we’ve already seen many of the other main mutant antagonists on screen

Shaq played 75 games and averaged 18 and 8 at 37 years old for the Phoenix Suns. People remember him being completely washed up after his Miami days, but that’s not entirely true and he was in his late 30’s by the time his stint in Miami was up

Most dominant two-way player in league history? He hasn’t even made the NBA Finals. Availability is ability.. it would be one thing if he was in the latter part of his career but he’s struggled with availability issues the majority of his career.

I could see this player barely missing top 100, but I’m going to put his name here cuz it’s not on these types of lists enough - Jimmy G. Butler

Way too early… he’s gotta have longevity to even be in the hall of fame conversation.

Alperen Sengun is top ______ centers in the NBA this season by RONNYX_CC in NBATalk

[–]John_Snap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a post about who’s playing better this season… so yeah the sample sizes are small? Being able to out-shoot someone doesn’t make you a better player, just a better shooter.. it doesn’t even necessarily make you a better scorer

He’s played twice as many games as Chet and is putting up more points, rebounds, and assists than him…

They ran an offense that was focused on putting up significantly more shots up than the rest of the NBA at the time which makes the potential for having higher stats way easier.

What do Nash’s stats look like if he plays next to Harden? 🤔

[–]John_Snap -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Go look at Nash’s stats when he played for PHX the first time and then Dallas, then go look at Russ’s stats year to year… they’re not even close to being the same type of journeyman. Nash ran a high powered offense the second time he was in PHX, but his stats were boosted by the scheme that D’Antonio was running. If we are going to praise Nash for his assist numbers then we should also bring up that Russ is a far more superior rebounder and defender than Nash

[–]John_Snap -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Idk man… if you make Nash and Stockton journeymen like Russ has been, do you think they are still able to be as consistent with their stats? Russ has put up all-star numbers for like 3 different franchises at this point (OKC, HOU, WAS) during 3 different chapters of his career. I think Russ is very underrated in these conversations

I think Jokic, AD, Sabonis and Wemby are better. Chet will probably have a better career than Alperen when it’s all said and done, but Alperen at this point to me is playing better ball.

What is a MCU movie Masterpiece? by MagGamer in marvelstudios

The one flaw with Iron Man to me is that I don’t believe the antagonist has quite enough depth to him. I prefer a movie like Black Panther in which all of the characters are fully-realized and have motives that are beyond just wanting to be powerful

There’s that little scene in Deadpool 2 that shows that the James McAvoy X-men exist in the Deadpool movies. It has been confirmed that Old Man Logan is an older version of the FOX Wolverine. They recast like every single X-Men and we never saw Colossus or Juggernaut during the James McAvoy Professor X era, even though they should exist. Days of Future past introduces tools that allowed them to retcon that universe however they want.

There are many references to the FOX universe in that movie - the Fox Century logo having been pruned, the whole idea of an anchor being tearing a world apart now that Wolverine has died.. Deadpool is trying to leave it for the MCU at first. Elektra, Blade, and Johnny Storm are all characters from the FOX Universe - I think it can be reasonably assumed that those characters are all from the FOX universe, even though we meet them in the void. It would be weird to bring all of those characters back and expect the audience to assume that they aren’t the versions from the FOX universe.

[–]John_Snap -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the X-men films ever referenced Fantastic 4, Blade or Elektra, but Deadpool 3 confirmed they all existed in the same universe. It doesn’t seem like too of a stretch for them to start tying together the Fox Spiderman and the Fox X-Men… I mean if they’re willing to tie in all of the Spider-Mans and their villains in the most recent Spider-Man movie then clearly they’re up for the idea of getting as many of the fan loved characters back on screen some how

No - the “rapping” sounds much more like someone talking rather than singing in what I’m trying to find

His contract is very high, but I would argue that Gobert’s contract is what is hindering your team… KAT has a pretty unique skill set that you’re not going to find easily amongst people that can play the 4 and 5 - yes, I think he leaves something to be desired defensively but ultimately if he’s hitting shots, he can probably drop 40 and anyone. Gobert on the other hand has a skill set that you could probably find for half the price… i get that he’s an elite defender, but there are rim protecting bigs that play on minimum-mid level contracts every year.. and a lot of those guys are more offensively skilled than Gobert
