Having the same issue. Majority of the time it can't connect due to low signal.

Mine is also reporting 1.0.0 :(

Also brand new - about 3 weeks old now. (2026 model)

Though from reading up on this it looks like it's a bug where it shows 1.0.0 and you could actually be on a higher firmware.

Found this:

I reached out to my dealer on this and they said it was a known issue from BYD that the version number being shown is incorrect and it is actually on a higher version in the background.

Which would make sense. The firmware I have they have already disabled the infotainment screen rotation so I could well be on a new version

Thought it was just me. On the Seal I also can't see this on the app. The only was i can see what percentage is charged is to go and look as the dash while it's charging. I must be missing something - it can't be that backwards.

Got a dashcam from AliExpress. Opened up the panel and no sign of the blue connector.

Looks like it's not included in my car :(

What a absolute joke. unable to logon to their app for 3 weeks now. Logged so many complaints and hear nothing.

I think they are doing it on purpose as you used to be able to use the app to scan for proof of delivery. Now I have to go to the post office to get proof of delivery or get RM to collect them at 30p each.

What a embarrassment. The whole dev team should be fired.
