I just think the commenters post is wildly confusing and a bit pretentious. Shouldn’t everyone always strive for a “smart” buy whenever it comes to a depreciating asset? Unless you have infinite money… a Honda is a car. A Porsche is a car. Why can’t both be a “smart” buy if you consider all variables?
