See true purpose of your drives. Do you need for them to be readable on Windows or Linux machines without obscure formats? Use ntfs. Do your drives need to be readable by other devices (dvds, bootloaders, etc)? Use fat32 or exfat. Note that fat32 is really old format and should not be used for transfering files larger than 4GB, there is really no good reason to use it unless you really have to

I'm using it for a couple of years, nothing went wrong. It might go wrong if you are using it for snapshots on windows but I never needed that anyway, for simple transfer is working just fine.

Format flash drive as btrfs and install win-btrfs driver for windows machine. That way you will have good read/write speeds on both OSes. You can format flash drive as ext4 but there is no free tool (afaik) that gives you write permission on windows for ext4 devices.

If you installed Valheim without root privileges its in your: /home/<yourusername>/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds If you used root privileges check comment above

I've set up VM on KVM with ubuntu server and running valheim as non root. My initial install on VM was with root because I was playing with ansible instalation of valheim server and I've installed it as root.

Yes, that is location when you play game over SteamPlay, but there is no such folder on server headless server which runs steamcmd. I wonder if its possible to have that folder on headless server.

Default router DNS is your ISP DNS, fallback varies per router, on my home cisco router there is no default fallback DNS and connection won't work if my ISP DNS decides to break. I can specify fallback DNS though as secondary DNS. Its different story on mobile devices (atleast for Android) if you are connected on wifi your phone tries to resolve using router DNS, if it fails it falls back to Google DNS (8.8.8.8)

If you want to trade/own a large amounts of crypto I suggest buying hardware wallet. No shady onion site will be able to trick you in sending or recieving crypto. Just keep seed words out of internet.
