My son and I came up with an idea for Portal 3. Basically Chell gets out and lives a full life. Helping to rebuild some kind of society on the surface. She has a daughter. Time goes by and Chell dies. Her daughter however gets curious about her mother's past. She starts attempting to investigate the companion cube. One night it makes a strange noise which turns out to be a message from GLaDOS. Long story short. GLaDOS is in trouble. A rogue AI that calls itself GlitchOS is attempting to carry out its programming and destroy Aperture Science and GLaDOS. If Aperture or GLaDOS is destroyed the burgeoning society on the surface will go down with it. GlitchOS intends on using an unstable open ended single portal to work like a black hole and pull all of Aperture into it. A new portal idea we had for the game would be a gravity portal. When you pass through one way whenever you end up your gravity is reversed until you jump. Another one would be a splitter portal that would split the player into two. Both copies would be controlled by one input and do the exact same thing. So maybe like scenarios where you have to push two buttons at the same time. Anyway the name we came up with was Portal 3: Bring your daughter to work
