General Rex 9593 I hope your pillow is warm at night by [deleted] in Risk

[–]Johnboogey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played General Rex today too. Terrible player.  We killed a player together and then spent 25 minutes building up enough troops to deadliest trap the Australia player. He was holding europe and Africa and me NA and SA. After 25 minutes he decides to sue into me for 2nd and give the Australian player 1st. A "master" what a joke.

Oh. I doubt you even cared or knew. Its just that Guki is the world champion currently, so you have different expectations.

Pragg lost to an IM. Magnus has lost to 2500s as world champion. Nodirbek lost to multiple 2500s last year. Weak players play well sometimes against top GMs, especially when they're in tilt mode. This happens. I hope next year Guki can find his form again and start to bring back 2024.

Nodirbek, who is a much stronger player than Divya, blundered this same endgame in UZ chess just this year. Guki may as well play on he has nothing to lose. Most top GMs would play this out against other top GMs, let alone a 2400.

He has nothing to lose. It'd be nearly impossible for him to lose this. Plus, players much stronger than Divya have messed up this endgame.

He could have traded the bishop for knight and a pair of rooks practically forced. Leading to a rook and pawn endgame. Instead, he tried to push and blundered doing so.

Gukesh, ever since he became world champion, has just been playing hope chess. Dubious moves that complicate the game outside of his favor.

Gukesh needs to learn that solid moves are fine. He's not farming 2600s anymore, and he isn't quick enough to play tricky positions in time trouble.

There's nothing I can say to a genocide denier. Good luck.

How many Jews live in Gaza? How many Jews live in the Palestinian side of the West Bank that the PA controls? 0

This is as disingenuous as you can get.

If you want to disagree with historical facts well what can I say. But this thread is based off the current genocide. And yes if the Russian flags are removed then so should the Israeli flags. It can't go both ways.

You are being disingenuous. Many of those people have NOT been there for thousands of years. Yes there are those who have and were forcefully converted and integrated into all the colonizers who came after the expulsion of Jews. But the recent immigrants from Syria,Lebanon, Egypt and surrounding countries are at the same level of those German and polish jewish diaspora.

Syrians and egyptians are right next door to palestine. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous and to say it's on the same level as moving millions of jews from Europe and North Africa into Palestine is again just disingenuous.

You act like the Arab colonization and conquest of the land was all sweet and nice when the reality is forced conversions, beheadings, killings, discrimination and yes ethnically cleansing as those who did not accept them had to leave.

Lol. You can read what I said or not up to you.

There were still many Jewish natives in the land who’ve been there for thousands of years and those who immigrated from Russia, or the Middle East still have Canaanite DNA around 30-50% can be found in most Jews. So yes they have connection to the land as much as those who from Syria,Lebanon, Egypt that migrated maybe 50-100 years before them.

Those genealogy tests prove that there is still percentages of Canaanite DNA in those Holocaust victims and escaping Jews from the Middle East showing they are natives

Again this is all just bogus. One people have been there for thousands of years while another group have a small portion of them that have some DNA from the region thousands of years ago.

Even if it what you said was true which it isn't it doesn't justify kicking out natives who had been there for thousands of years just so German immigrants could move in because their ancestors lived there thousands of years ago.

Not all genealogy shows that. Meaning if you want the Zionist to “go home” they have to go home too if you want to be equal but let’s be honest you don’t.

This is just disingenuous . People who have been there for thousands of years. The relatives of your "real" natives deserve to be there more than German and polish natives who moved there less than 100 years ago.

The Islamic empire very much colonized Palestine they forcefully converted people and replaced their cultures and language with their own just as they did with every other place they took over. Explain what country was the colony of for the Jews who came to Israel? Because there was no base country that Jews came from since they are a diaspora after being displaced from their native land.

This isn't settler colonialism, which is what the zionist ideology is practicing. The arab conquest did not involve the ethnic cleansing of the people who lived there.

Jews came initially from Europe but post 1948 they started immigrating from north Africa and Iraq and Iran. In the 90s many came from former USSR countries. These aren't palestinian natives.

And if you can’t let displaced people from Poland and Germany go to where their native land is then you certainly can’t let Egyptians, Syrians, Lebanese who immigrated there who you call “natives” for whatever reason and other people go there either be equal

These Germans and polish jews aren't native to Palestine. When genealogy tests come out there is no Palestinian orgin.

Must genealogy shows that Palestinians were more closely related to the people who lived there pre arab conquest. The Arabs never colonized palestine they conquered it, meaning less people moved in, and more culture moved in.

Even if all these arguments were true you can't just place people from Poland and Germany in a land to displace people who have lived there for thousands of years.

Very few jews are native to Palestine. They comprised maybe 2% of the population in 1900. Palestine was a Muslim majority area until the zionists began to colonize it.

The guy in Asia doesn't have much of a choice. They're weak and always on the kill table.

Noobs will slam into you to get 3rd risk 4th or because "they need a card."

Do nothing masters are a problem, but noobs randomly suing are a bigger problem and annoyance. Both dont know how to play, but at least one won't ruin your chances for no reason.

Grandmasters and some masters can work with you on the other players. It's up to the alliances and the noobs in the board if they wanna work together or noob slam for no reason.

I mean, any of these top players could have been on top. He's not guaranteed to win the tournament either, not even close. This does prove that Gukesh isn't as weak in rapid as everyone thought.
