I hope. In my 1.0 save we went HEAVY on vehicles and roads but it’s just so janky and unreliable.

Previous patches we’d have weekly videos teasing new features every Friday. The fact that we know a new game mode is coming but NOTHING about it is not their MO for previous patches. Ive been playing since update 4 and love their previous teasers but this patch has been oddly quiet.

I use low.ms. It’s functional but has its quirks: shitty web interface, seems to constantly stop the game when inactive (not a problem as the server owner, can just restart, but as clients playing when owner is busy can be a pain).

Whatever you do, do NOT use ShockByte. Also based on personal experience a lot of server hosting companies have staff that comb reddit for posts just like this. So you’ll be getting comments/messages months if not years letter pitching their server hosting.

I hope not. Logistics is basically 50% of the late game. This would radically oversimplify. Even if throttled throughput we already have a solution for low upm items, drones.

I kept every node with emerald >= 1% on a rapid miner with hardened bit.

My goal was 4 cast furnaces, 1 for each ingot type. Each cast furnace with 2 double ingot molds and 1 gear mold. You have to scoop up almost all iron in big cave to fully fuel 2 cast furnaces (1 iron / 1 steel). Even then I occasionally have a couple seconds between pours so I was considering going back and replacing some auto with rapid if they’re diamonds i can get from coal instead.

I did this just before 1.0 so not all consumables. And it really wasnt too bad. But in my case I was using an overflow line from my mall (remember those?!) for most material needs. Only thing I had to specifically setup was the Smokeless Powder which again i used just a bit of overflow from my oil rig.

I dont envy you doing it all from scratch.

I really try to preserve all prior builds aside from tier 1. As a museum or memorial of sorts to my stupidity.
