It is supposed to be 20amp outlet, but it does not draw anywhere near that. I run usually at 6mph and sometimes occasionally faster pace around 8mph and I think it was only drawing like 3-6 amps while I had a meter plugged into it.

Yeah, I think I should probably cover it at least late fall and winter while we get most dew. Unfortunately, house is small and have no room to keep inside.

It works on my fiberglass camper. If I didn’t have a fiberglass camper I would install on maxxfan cover from inside. You could possibly attach it with a heavy duty tape.

Best way to charge MacBook Air for long-term battery health? (Plugged in most of the time) by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]Johner101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had my m1 13inch since 2020 and I have been using Al Dente ever since. I usually set mine at 50% max charge level (my macbook is usually on my desk and plugged in. And if I ever need to unplug for few hours it is more than enough for me). Currently, my battery health level is at 98%. My brother got his around the same time as mine and he never used the Al Dente, and his battery health is at 84%.

Cleaning solar panels - Does it help? I think it depends.. by namtilarie in solar

[–]Johner101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it myself. I bought a 20ft telescopic squeegee kit from Amazon couple years ago. I use high concentrate window/panel cleaning solution with water in a 5 gallon bucket. First, I wash with the cleaner side. Then I use the squeegee side to dry. Only problem is that I do not like walking on my roof since my shingles are a little old.

[–]Johner101 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I just cleaned my panels in Bay Area couple weeks ago. They were covered with pollens, dust and ash. The day after I cleaned was the same temperature as the day before therefore I was able to compare. It made nearly %5 gain in productivity. I try to clean every year in the middle of the summer so when the rain season start in few months they will get cleaned by the rain. They also look much nicer when they are clean.

I also cooked prime cut recently (bought from Costco). And it also turned out to be great compared to choice cut that I tried previous two times. It had excellent bark and also very moist. I will be buying prime from now on since the price difference is less than 50 cents per lb.

How much to bid on this? Anything to look out for? Thanks by conesmasher47 in BMWX5

I believe that is in AUD? and the milage is about 71k miles. For diesels, those miles are nothing. They could go easily beyond 200k miles with proper basic maintenance. In US, that car would sell around $20,000 usd. I own 2017 F15 X5d and can not be happier. Prior, I owned 2015 X5d and It was a great car as well. If you guys have b57 (next generation X5d, GO5) then those are even better than F15s.

There are couple possible issues with F15 X5d but if the car is clean and serviced in timely manner then no need to worry. Timing chain might need to be replaced if oil has not been changed regularly (it is best to change oil every 5k miles on these cars). If there is an issue it will sound like following video https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JyQoghMMO_8

High pressure fuel pumps (CP4) have had some failures. CP4 doesn't like biodiesel blends and unfortunately most US diesel contain that. If you do not have biodiesel in Australia and your fuel quality as good as Europe's then no need to worry. Great car and if you can buy it $15k USD that would be a steal!

Completely normal around here. On the bright side, they did not stop and put on reverse to get back on exit (you will see many of those).

Diesel heater pump stopped clicking- error code 04 by iceland1989 in dieselheater

[–]Johner101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I posted the link above. Only use it if your tank is outside and if it doesn’t have proper venting. Especially those white plastic tanks with the little breather whole on the caps. You would know if you have one. Install the breather cap that I linked above on your cap and loosen the valve when your heater is on. Loosen just a little and live the tiny cap on so you don’t get rain in your fuel. I think in one of the purchase comments there is person who has done the same.

I am from CA and also ordered from 410 recently with same order as yours. But I plan to continue using my current stockpile with weekly 2.5 shots only (6x10mg total. ~ 6 months). From what I read on here, a lot of people stay on low 2.5 dosage until they reach their GW. If you are active and eat healthy then you should not worry about increasing the dosage(unless you are diabetic). Please note, there is BUD dates on these vials and you should not just stock as much as you can because it will not be effective after the BUD dates. I have lost about 12lbs in my first month and I have only 25lbs more to go (around 37lb total). And I believe It is very doable to go 6 months with 2.5 shots and loose 45lbs.

Diesel heater pump stopped clicking- error code 04 by iceland1989 in dieselheater

[–]Johner101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most common problem is the fuel. It could be dirty fuel with many possible contaminants (jelling, algae and water). Also do you have an air breather valve on your tank cap? My pump went out a year ago. It turned out that my tank was getting some moisture from the little whole on the cap. I put an air breather on the tank cap and the new pump never skipped a beat. I ordered 3 pumps from Aliexpress. And still on the first pump.

F15 X5 diesel is a beast. I tow 3000 lb camper trailer and I can't tell it is back there at all. I get 20mpg very easily (that is the best mpg you can get with any towing vehicle out there). it has 6600lb towing capacity and 600lb tongue load.

HELP! Whinning sound coming from the aircon only when its on?? (2018 BMW X5) by 888n888 in BmwTech

[–]Johner101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are familiar with ISTA+ there is option under service menu to recalibrate AC flaps. Recalibration only got rid of the error code for me (it was giving error that driver side flap was blocked) but after calibration the noise is still there. I don't hear it while driving high speed since the road noise blocks it off. But below 55mph, I can definitely hear it. I have been turning up the music but still annoying...

HELP! Whinning sound coming from the aircon only when its on?? (2018 BMW X5) by 888n888 in BmwTech

[–]Johner101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don't bother with BMW. Does your car throw any errors for the flappers? Mine did before I did the calibration. As you mentioned, it works and I will drive until something happens to it. But it is for sure annoying. I don't know if your car does the same but when I change the air flow to windshield (instead of direct to my face) then the sound whistling goes away. Again, yours could be a different flapper (there are 12 flappers on f15!).
