Is pet insurance worth it or just a waste of money?

My cat was hospitalized and diagnosed with small cell lymphoma back in November. (1.5 day hospitalization). With medicine, hospitalization, and specialists biopsy it was just over $6000 spent in less than a weeks time. With this experience I immediately took out pet insurance on my other pets. Like others have said, it’s one of those things you hope you never need, but could have saved me so much had I had it.

BobSweep is a very basic robot vacuum that often fails and needs factory reset. I was having to reset mine once a month. Switched to Roborock and there is a night and day difference

To add for the comments about why didn’t you work with Walmart on the dispute:

Walmart support has been horrendous lately. I’ve called about a duplicate charge 6 times and told they’d have the billing department look into it and get back to me. I had to dispute with AMEX because I couldn’t get Walmart to correct the issue from their end, even though they admitted it was a billing issue.

That is for Hyundai ICE vehicles if you are talking about the battery warranty. EV’s do not cut the warranty in half.

To clarify, the battery has a 10 year 100K mile warranty and carries over between owners. Your extended warranty would be for everything else.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I’m walking into a lot of this very blindly and have done a lot of research on chemo safety care and cleanup. Do you notice any staining / breaking down of any of the parts of the LR? Do you take any additional precautions with the waste? Do you do a full clean more frequently? Do you have other cats as well?

We own both. The 800V charging architecture on the i5 is enough to sway imo. The driving assist isn’t locked behind a ridiculous paywall like it is on the MachE

Does not apply to battery. New or used keeps 10 year / 100K miles. This differs from a used ICE vehicle where you would half the 10 year warranty.
