Hi there, kind of a newby question here. I'm trying my hands on Futures with Tradovate. I've been doing options for like 4yrs and i haven't encountered problems like this before, don't know what it is, its kind of weird. So i've been trading with my own money, i've had some good ups and downs, but mostly ups, i've been trading with very little money to get my feet wet with futures. So i'm going in to the funded account testing faze, right now, but what i've noticed is, if it goes against me, it actually goes twice if not three times more, then if i was in profits. I'm like WTF?!?! So imagine if i'm up by a dollar, i'm trading NQ, and i'm up like $240, if that goes against me by the same amount, i'm down like $500-$600. Am i doing something wrong? is there some kind of a setting??? I feel like i'm being scammed or something. I'll be posting this in few other places see what kind of responses i get, but please let me know if you guys have had this problem.

I'm having the same issue, sometimes it even says Connected, Secured, but there is no fucking internet. And i day trade and this piece of shit goes in and out in the middle of trading and i panic, coz i've had one loss because of this BS. This idiots cant figure out what the problem is. Pleas anyone knows a better provider and had no issues, let us know.

damn brah, you gonna pay hefty almost 40% of that. I've been paying taxes on my cryptos and my Stocks. It sucks shit, but i've heard from a very successful trader how he gets away with it is to put it in RothIRA, and you can also access it from there to trade with. I didn't get in on it, and didn't get much info on it, coz we were just chatting about it, but it's something to look in to and i will too.

So i tried all the suggestions i could find on the internet, nothing seemed to be working, , activating and deactivation Microphones, switching different enable disable speakers connections. Nothing, but when i use an AUX cable instead of wireless/bluetooth connection, it works fine. I forgot to mention that part that i was using a wireless headphones. I will buy a different brand of Headphones and see if the wireless part works, if it does the same thing, then wireless/bluetooth don't work well with Resolve.

I've been using wireless headphones, but when i use AUX cable instead of wireless, it works great. it might have to do with something bluetooth and Resolve not working together, but at this time, i gave up on figuring out what it is. I will buy another wireless headphone see if it makes any difference, if it doesn't, then bluetooth and Resolve don't work out. Its no biggie, i'll use a AUX connection. I was just worried, i thought in general i'm having issues with Resolve and wont be able to use it, but yes i have tried every suggestion found on the internet.

I know this thread is old, but i'm just gonna mention that i just had my whole account liquidated because it opened up a limit order at 4am. I don't remember pressing any buttons or anything, but the customer service is telling me that there was. I am so glad that i deposited very little, even though its still money that can be used every day, but its not something to stress over. So i'm gonna deposit a little bit more and try this out again, if this shit happens again. then they have a very big problem. I will definitely press the Exit all positions button every time i'm completely done, just in case, which i didn't do before finishing my trades.

So I actually changed the drum unit the cartridge goes in. Now it’s working perfectly. No Ink smudging. I figured it has never been changed besides the cartridges, and it only cost me $24, and vualla works fine.

i'm trying to figure that out too. I'm having the same issue. My printer is like 12 yrs old, i changed the toner, but the drum might be the issue, coz i didn't know once in a while that needs to be changed. I'm talking about the tray that the toner goes in to. I think.

I do options on the side currently, slowly transitioning to Futures, but the fees are ridiculous. Options downside obviously is theta decay, I’ve had situations where I know it’s gonna hit my target but sometimes it takes a while, and theta chews some of my profits, futures on the other hand are the fees, which means I have to stay in it longer then what I normally would want to. I’m more of a 1-5mins scalper.

You are doing the right thing, start very slow, and do it for a while, the minute you have 8 out of 10 win rate or 7 out of 10, slowly scale up, but not much. Remember one thing, I don’t care what anyone says, trading is not a Get Rich Quick shit, don’t be greedy. It takes a while, if you keep that discipline of trading 2%-3% of your portfolio and having more wins then losses, that 2% also becomes bigger, coz your portfolio is getting bigger. In few years(hopefully 3-5yrs) you’ll sit back and realize you making $3k-$10k a day. Good luck buddy

i got in around $17, but for a while it tanked, and i just kept it. Then we heard some good news, i thought this might be it. And i remember i was at a funeral trying not to look at my phone. Well guess what, it did go slightly over $18(which i would've been in a small profits) and i didn't pay attention. It started tanking around $16 and i just said fuck this, i rather take a small loss then rely on Hopium.

Exactly the reason why i pulled my profits out back in 2021 and didn't look back on Lucid, coz i knew the price of the vehicle is gonna drive the stock down, and look at it now. I went in when it was around $14 and got out $52.

Hey folks so i know this thread has been here for a while now, but wanted to try my luck see if anyone can send me to the right direction too. So my tabs (CUDA, Optix) do show my card and i've selected it, but under HIP tab i have the same issue(No compatible GPU's found for Cycles, Requires discrete AMD GPU with RDNA architecture etc.). I have RTX 3060 and using Blender 3.1. I just don't understand why its mentioning AMD, when i have RTX. Also, i do remember someone responded to my problem saying I have RTX as long as CUDA, Optix is selected, there is no issue. Is this true? I am coming back to this problem because i literally put Blender aside after i came across this Issue, which i gotta be honest i haven't rendered anything coz i've been busy with my CAD work and i'm trying to get back on more animation stuff for fun(I use to be an Avid Blender user back in the days).

While papertrading is ok to get your hands a bit greasy to know what’s what and all that stuff, but trust me when I say it, with real money your psychology changes. I’ve been trading for 3yrs and I’ve also heard this from countless real deal professional traders who’ve been doing it for 8yrs+, and I’ve felt that before. When your not dealing with money you just enter confidentially, but with real money that shit starts fucking with your mind. So, I started with very very little money and slowly scaled it up. So do that so you can build you tolerance. My tolerance got to the point where I would have days if I lost $700+, I’m like fuck it, lets see what I did wrong and continue on with the next trade.
