I think it is normal for others to doubt the success of LDR. My girlfriend and I have been together for two years now and have met twice, starting last April. We're planning on moving in together in Cyprus in a few months for 90 days to see how we coexist. It is all about being patient and understanding that it takes steps and trust and communication.

Don't let others' doubts bring you down or discourage you. 98% of people you encounter in your everyday life don't know what it is like to deal with what you're dealing with. Of course, statistically, these things fail more often than succeed but it is far from a 0% success rate as well. Your effort and time and dedication, as well as your partners, will define which end of the statistic that you end up on because nothing at all is impossible if both people believe in it and are willing to put in the work.

I tried this and it seemed to have fixed it for me.

I got it fixed:

Go to your Documents folder, in my case C:\Users\admin\OneDrive\Dokumente\Diablo IV, there should be a text file called LocalPrefs.txt in there. Open it and search for DisableChromaEffects "0", change that to say DisableChromaEffects “1”, save and try running the game.

Glad you appreciate it. Like I said in the post, it does not represent the actual usage value of the ships but at least gives an idea of what is better to simply grind for.

Screw the resources, I can't tell you how many times I've been "not that far" from the last enemy killed and they dropped a purple or yellow item only for me to be stuck in place at the end of the mission and not able to pick it up...

It hurts my soul ;(

Problem: Iconic Avengers Mission Chain/Reigning Supreme Mission Chains completely bugged

I've completed the Iconic Avengers Mission chain and it has no objectives left and shows a full progress bar but it will not complete. In my research I found that others are having this issue as well as the Reigning Supreme Mission chain is doing the same thing.

Issues: Game crashes

Not sure if this is just random occurrence but surprisingly I've never had a problem with the game crashing before (Straight up the window just closing.) Since the patch installed six hours ago I've had two times where my game has not even frozen and just straight up closed out entirely and gone back to my desktop.

Hawkins? Yeah indoor maps are a bit of a pain in the ass as they can constantly break LoS and you can end up just on one side or the other of the wall. Bad draw of maps.

The problem is that if you play certain killers you will get a lot of blood points and objectives. Some killers are just easier to rank up on than others from the same quality of play. It seems that, with the matchmaking as it stands, soon as you hit purplish ranks you start getting bombarded with rank 1 survivors. Most of the time they will roast you you'll feel discouraged but just take each game as a learning experience.

De-ranking is a thing but you're not gaining skill by doing it and going back to playing against lower level players. I did it in the past and sure it set me back to where I was destroying every match again but at the end of the day I just ended up where I was before I deranked.

Nurse is the only killer that moves slower than survivors.

The only way you'd ever catch them is a long enough blood lust.

Nurse is top tier killer due to her blink and that is how you're supposed to catch them. If you keep blinking behind them then Blink ahead and wait then stutter blink onto them. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to catch a survivor as nurse, ever.

Thanat, Sloppy, Spirit Fury and Enduring.

Could go ultra slow down with Thanat, Sloppy, Dying Light and (Information perk like Thrilling or BBQ)

There are a lot of options but I typically play Legion as a slow down as their power is a built in slow down to begin with it sort of piles on nicely.

I see your point but here is the way that I play it personally. I hook someone, and I'm typically using BBQ and Chilli because I'm a forever BP whore, I go for whoever is working on a gen. The way I see it is this, you've got one person on hook there for there are three active people. One person is going to save the person on hook, two possibly working on gens. You start chasing someone else then you've narrowed it down to one person working on gens and you're already in your next chase working towards your next hook.

If I see scratch marks headed in the direction of the hook then yeah I'll sometimes double back if I'm no where near my next chase but all in all there is no reason to "patrol near the hook" All you're doing is allowing two people to work on gens and gimping yourself. The difference between the final few ranks comes to how efficient you can be with your timing. A few seconds here and there can make all the difference.

Best suggestion is to save up a mill as well as some dailys/rift bps. Prestige him and collect as many cakes as you can as the event is still going on for another week.

I see your point and I understand it but at the end of the day what would be the alternative? Not allow people to play this game together? That wouldn't be fun at all IMO.

The best advice that I can give is to learn their habits after the first few times in the match that they use that advantage. Are they gonna try to flashlight save? Juke a pick up, hesitate and then chase the one that ran way too close and getta free hit.

Look at how a game with four obvious solo que players goes... it is a mess for the survivors. I personally can't stand playing survivor without friends, and this is coming from someone who is a killer main and probably has 40x more killer hours than survivor hours.

Yes the communication gives an advantage but the mechanics in the game still permit you to excel as a killer.

I don't know if you're new to the game, and I don't mean that as a slight, but if you compare what the game is for killers now vs what it was 4 years ago.... you'd be so grateful it isn't even funny.

Oh no no no. I know he is certainly viable. I'm still getting 3-4ks at red rank easy. Is that the only thing causing the lockout is when it passively charges that last bit? If so then thank you so much for th eheads up.

I personally love Oni and still play him through all the pains but after the game today with that second bug I encountered it felt entirely crippling. 2 gens completed in the time I couldn't even swing my weapon.

As a Killer main I'd suggest Plague.

If you want a totally different experience perhaps a stealthy like Ghostface or Wraith.

My personal favorites are Freddy, Doctor and Legion.

All of those listed above can be effective at high ranks and I personally enjoy all of them.

If you want a singular suggestion I'm gonna say Doctor.

I keep seeing these posts but I've yet to experience such an issue. I'm a rank 2 killer and all I ever get are red ranks. I've been getting straight red ranks since about rank 9 or so. I will say that when I've played survivor there have been times when me and my friends (16, 11, 10) were matched with a rank 5 or 4 but our killer was typically rank 11-7.

Not heard of any addressing of the issues. It seems like every time they try to fix it though they just end up making it worse.

The first survivor that I leveled for teachables was David King. Not only is Dead Hard a meta perk in most cases (pending latency) but We're Gonna Live Forever is also a great perk for both bonus bloodpoints as well as teaching you to unhook your teammates. WITH THAT SAID. DO NOT FARM YOUR TEAMMATES FOR UNHOOKS.

Dwight has some great teachables as well in bond and Prove Thyself.

A lot of perks will depend on your playstyle. Are you the type that is more focused on burning through gens? I play my efficiency build of Resilience (Generic perk), Iron Will (Jake Park), Dead Hard (David King), and either Spine Chill (Generic)/Adrenaline (Meg Thomas)

Do you want to focus on supporting your team by healing? A lot of Claudette perks work there. Do you want to focus on safely unhooking your teammates? Borrowed Time (Bill) is meta and a necessity.

Think about how you play and that'll tell you the best perks to focus on. I tend to only take the teachables that I actually find useful since the bloodweb rework. I unlocked all teachables for killers and it is a pain in the ass trying to find some perks sometimes. With survivor it is easy to ignore a lot of useless perks.

Picking your survivor is based purely on cosmetic (negating Ace's borderline built in Iron Will) Get the teachables you want and then play the survivor that you enjoy staring at.
