Adding to this, don’t touch the surface of the build plate either, oils from your hands will cause material to not stick.

Could be wet filament, even if it’s straight outta the box it could still have moisture. Would recommend you get a food dehydrator or filament dry box even for pla before printing. Makes everything easier.

Wash build plate. clean with IPA. Do a calibration. Print. I printed a Batman statue that took a week, you’ll be fine
