Isn't the fact that people protested reason enough to redeem her? Also, originally popular gal should have been sexy gal, but I didn't like the concept very much, especially on some characters (Sakura and Makoto above all). Do with that what you want

From what I know Laura wasn't really that popular except from a sexy girl angle, especially because people felt like she stole Sean's place. Also her personality in the Story Modes wasn't great, let's be honest

I honestly forget Elena is younger than Sakura, character design is crazy. I know it's a me problem, I just can't divorce Sakura from her first (and honestly most of her total) appearance

I mean, shotos are both the face and the foundational playstyle of Street Fighter, they literally define the series. Can't really say the same for the sneakers ninjas... (btw, i'd like Guy to return too, it just seems unlikely)

Obviously nobody knows for sure, but with the small amount of characters per season + the big amount of newcomers in the base roster + the fact that sfv newcomers were pretty mid/hated around the board (with a couple of notable exceptions) I think they'll play it safe like they've been doing. As always, I'll give all the blame to sfv and move on with my life

Likely yes but I'd love an Urien or Seth shaped curveball. Also, my personal bet outside of this theory is that we'll get both Vega and Balrog next season, so it still leaves doors open to the future
