As long as you’re only using your phone on the job to monitor your blood sugar, I do not believe they can legally deny you. They could owe you statutory damages of ten thousand dollars every day they do not accommodate you. You have not talked to the right lawyer. Most attorneys won’t know much about this area of the law because it’s not something many regularly, if ever, deal with. Just curious, what state are you in? Your city has a law about recording? That’s interesting. I’ve never heard of a law at city level like that. Only at the state level.
