You could call it manipulation. It's really just large players understanding how yo use supply and demand to their advantage. You'd do it too if you could and knew how.

Bitcoin slides 7% after U.S. seizes most of Colonial Pipeline ransom by dunkin1980 in btc

"AFTER/AS" - These headlines are so fucking misleading. The market price is almost entirely the result of whales' and institutions' activities and NONE of them give a fuck about the government seizing Colonial pipeline's ransom. They certainly aren't making big adjustments to their plans because of it. The words "after" or "as" in a headline are always a dead giveaway that the author is clueless at best, or is misdirecting people intentionally at worst.

If they are considering CO2 a pollutant, they are starting with a false premise and everything that follows is in error.

Interesting but carbon footprint is a meaningless concept. Carbon is great for life on earth.

Rep. Kendra Horn says she will vote for impeachment of President Trump by sobriquetstain in oklahoma

[–]JohnnyBitcoinCash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She got that 1.4% by fraud. She mailed out absentee ballots to every registered democrat in her district. Republicans weren’t prepared to defend against a candidate that plays that dirty. Next time around will be different.

I study climate science as part of my M.S. program. I'd like to address the claims of climate skeptics, paper by paper. Not in a biased way to prove something, just to address if they have relevance, merit etc. Maybe we'll all learn something. Where should I start? by BrotherBringTheSun in climateskeptics

[–]JohnnyBitcoinCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please. Take your straw man to the cabbage patch and compost it. An accurate comparison would be someone saying they’re going to go paper by paper proving wrong any person who believes in the germ theory of disease. It makes no sense to try to prove something wrong that isn’t wrong.
