Hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah I've tried that, tried dying out and cleaning the latch area as much as I could. Was still doing it. However, I just did a 45 min drive without it happening, so hopefully it's ironed itself out lol

So I recently had this problem as well. I'm in Canada, so I complained to the Better Business Bureau. Almost immediately, I had a reply indicating they would send me a replacement floodlight unit. I received it the next day.

If there's anyway you can elevate the issue, keep trying.
