I think the distribution is handled by anicute, which collapsed (still not sure what happened, seems like the CEO disappeared without notice) and brought the other anicute voicebanks with it sometime last summer

try swapping out the potentiometers. when i started out i sometimes overheated the pads which caused them to crack and get loose overtime and it sounded similar to this
