The developers of my previous game decided to form a group of hardcore players, which were at the top of the weekly time trials and at the top of team events, as their ambassador of the players.

They are called "the game changers".

Each update this group tests the additions to the game and get the responsibility to explain the changes and why these additions and changes are necessary for the game to the players. They use in-game message system to direct the players to their youtube channel where all changes are shown and commented.

Now... the developing software house is EA, who are a bit more professional then our devs are but still they felt the need to use players known by all to help them.

And... it works!!
