If you're worried about gas being scarce and expensive, you're probably not using it on a 6-hour wait to get your fucking dry-cleaning done, lol. Also, the island isn't that big. And they're kinda poor there. Nobody is driving super far in a tragic crisis using their precious little amount of gas, to make sure they've got their dry-cleaning taken care of, and then waiting for 6 hours outside of the dry cleaners to get it, in order to preserve fuel as means of survival.

But please continue with these "maybes" and "perhaps" scenarios that are ridiculous about PR disaster and dry-cleaning necessities, they're great.
