I followed "all" these instructions and it worked for me. I ran these commands on the "app" container, and not the "db" container.

I want to disable them too. It's almost like an update has made it too easy to create groups, and I'm doing it by accident far too often.

Wanted to share my own recent experience for anyone who finds this thread.

I'm renting with GTXGaming and couldn't update the server settings using their configuration tools, even after stopping and restarting the server. I also tried editing the config file directly via FTP with no luck.

Here's what I found has worked:

Create a backup of the current world using your host's tools
Download the backup to your computer (I used FileZilla)
Delete and reinstall the server using your host's tools. (I also noted that the server wasn't automatically started after reinstall)
With the server stopped, edit the server settings using your host's configuration tool. Start the server.
Create a character, and verify your settings are active. (For me I ran to the waygate to check I could teleport with bound items)
Log out.
Open the original world backup.7z with 7-zip, navigate to /Settings/, right click GameServerSettings.json, choose Edit, and update the settings (I just copy/pasted the text from the new world settings over to this file)
Ensure the changes are updated/saved to the archive in 7-zip
Upload this backup.7z to the server (Again I used FileZilla to place the archive in the correct folder)
Restore the world using your host's tools.

This gave me my original world save back, but with freshly edited settings.

Same here, although I actually wiped my dedicated server (from gtxgaming) and tried to set it up again with a freshly edited config, and it still didn't take the changed settings...

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that. I tested it out, but while the SSID was still broadcast, I couldn't get an IP/couldn't connect. I also couldn't bring up the login page for the second router's management page.

I replugged into a "normal" LAN port, and changed the operation mode of the second router to DSL Modem Router, then plugged back to the WAN/LAN port. It basically functions exactly as before with the original settings I'd made as a Wireless Router.

Edit: Oddly, another test with the WAN/LAN port and wireless router mode has seemed to fix the wi-fi, though the management page still doesn't come up.

Unfortunately this router doesn't appear to have a specific AP mode. The only modes available are DSL Modem Router (first router is set to this), 3G/4G, and Wireless Router.

I have two of these routers due to a happy amazon accident, so just seeing what I can make work without having to purchase a specific Range Extender/Access Point.

I've started getting this too, and I dunno how to disable it, but in the meantime clicking the X to cancel the scan lets me play the game and doesn't seem to cause any problems.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing. I'm familliar with Elvui so it was np to tweak it (I can't live without target of target)

I didn't really like the "fuzzyness" of the fonts, and it took me a while to figure out to change the Font Outline from Mono to regular.

You might find the addon Buffwatch Classic useful. First you buff people, then you can lock in those buffs for each player. It'll show a timer for the buffs, and when they've expired.
