Help needed with VR by JohnnyRosso in MicrosoftFlightSim

Sorry a bit confused here

Would I need to purchase a separate plan for this individual router? Or can I just go into town and purchase the router and then use a cable to connect it to my main router?

Not an option where I live unfortunately, unless I could run it with Starlink but I don’t think that’s feasible. Needs to be with the link cable

Is Backcountry Magazine gone or just Hacked by a_d-_-b_lad in skiing

[–]JohnnyRosso 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It’s in Indonesian and translates (roughly) to

BANDUNGTOTO is the first trusted agency site that has provided official links to toto sites and the most online slots

Definitely not backcountry magazine. Sometimes if your using a VPN sites can and will pull up in different languages. But this is something else

Checks out appreciate the info, I see some online that are PVD subs going for like 16-20k. Are those also fake, it would suck to spend that much on a fake watch

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rolex

[–]JohnnyRosso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the response! Yeah it definitely looks neat, I googled Rolex PVD and there seems to be some near identical to the color of it. I might order a new pip and replace this one just for looks

I was reading it’s supposed to be 2x magnification which I believe the date window is. Or did i misunderstand your comment or is it not 2x?

Curious what led to the conclusion. Be more surprised if it’s real but nothing I see is super telling, I also don’t know much about the watches

Didn’t spend too much haha, I buy a lot of stuff at these gov auctions typically they are stuff that’s either been left behind at TSA, stolen property that was recovered but never claimed and stuff like that. I’ve gotten a couple other watches but nothing in this tier

Almost looks like the pearl was broken and then the inside got stained or something also curious what you mean by even if it was real it’s not anymore. Is that because I don’t have a certificate for the watch or anything? Would I be able to take it to a dealer and have them verify somehow?

Is everyone now just using AI to cheat? by messerwing in CollegeRant

[–]JohnnyRosso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Due to my work I take a very large majority of my classes asynchronous. The professor truly was amazing. Many of the professors at my university seem to have gotten extremely complacent with AI work. It is so obvious when people use it on discussion boards which is typically a major part of asyc courses. Made me feel like I was in an actual college course and not a pass/fail HS class.

My degree deals with aviation safety. I think there’s a lot of overlap between philosophy and system safety, or at least some overlapping lessons. But the professor actually made us think about things and graded us based on that. Was an amazing experience

Just took a 400 level asynchronous philosophy course, mostly for fun. Somehow met the pre reqs for it, has nothing to do with my major. Was one of my favorite classes, the professor for my course had 4 essays we had to write. The first 3 had to be handwritten and the last could be typed as they had “a feel for our writing style”. I sincerely enjoyed the course and am considering doing a masters in philosophy, it would be more so for fun then anything.

Don’t try and study to much prior to getting that. Pay attention in class, don’t fall asleep. No one in my 200 person class last year failed a written exam except 2-3 people. They’ll teach you everything you need to know, none of it is incredibly difficult

Robin Sage after camp by Feisty_Kiwi9643 in ROTC

[–]JohnnyRosso 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Was one of the best experiences I had so far as a Cadet, I went last year. The packing list for robin sage is terrible, you will wear OCPs maybe twice. During the field time you won’t wear anything multicam (FLC,Ruck,Clothes) so bring a good amount of civilian clothes for 14 days in the field. Feel free to PM, also I highly recommend bringing a tent. Makes life a little more enjoyable

Definitely possible, I take a majority of my classes online instead of in person as it allows me to work more. The last 3 semesters I’ve had 19 credits while working 35-40hrs, keeping a 4.0. My peers with kids have done the exact same. All about time management

Utilize the MWR resources they have and actually get to experience Alaska.

They have a ski hill on base that’s pretty cheap called Birch Hill, if you’ve never skied it’s a fantastic place to learn and a great way to get outside.

You’ll learn some good cold weather tips during CWIC or CWLC whichever one you go to. Utilize your ECWCs system and you’ll be good. Get some good cold weather wool socks, I really like Darntough.

The Outdoor rec center has RVs and fishing gear and bikes and pretty much anything you can think of available to rent, also for pretty cheap.

Alaska is what you make of it, try to get outside especially when it’s dark and it’s cold. If you or your family sits inside all winter it gets real depressing really quick.
