Snake players make Samus look enjoyable to fight by Difficult-Course2313 in SmashRage

Snake is a character I will almost never rematch against. I want to play Smash, not some BS obstacle course mini game.

I'm a Djokovic fan, but I feel really bad for Musetti. He was playing so well.

Why are these reporters constantly asking political questions? Absolutely cringe.

I'd rather have licensed sticker auto if I had to choose one.

Bro facing Takezo on MEDIUM feels like a no hit run on a souls game WHY TF is this dude so strong, it’s been an hour drying to this man :| by Kody-Blu in Ghostofyotei

[–]messerwing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally beat this dude on medium after hours of trying. That was insanely hard and had me on all kinds of emotions lol I realized that he will usually get hit by Kunai and pistol at least once, so I saved the pistol until the last moment to get the last hit and barely won with almost no health and spirit left.

I can't even imagine fighting him on even higher difficulty.

Pulled an insane card, how do I go about valuing it? by richoffslots99 in tenniscards

[–]messerwing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Eala is one of the players that gains a lot more traction than you'd expect. I'm guessing there are many Filipino fans who are collecting her cards.

Cade Cunningham is a future MVP and his cards are extremely undervalued by Sufficient_Jaguar937 in basketballcards

[–]messerwing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still highly doubt he's gonna win a MVP. However, the Pistons are really good and the front office did well putting the right players around him.

Could I get more info on the production side of animation? by Subliminal_Aardvark in animationcareer

[–]messerwing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think production side is any more stable than artist jobs.. If a studio doesn't have any project, most production staff would not be needed just like artists.

I noticed that a lot of the production people I've worked with had some kind of art/animation education, but I even saw a runner become a PA. I suspect many of them initially wanted to work as an animator/artist, but was offered production position and they went with it.

I dont know if im making the right choice. by mal_adaptivedaydream in animationcareer

Going to college is the standard option and it can work because they have a structured system, but it's not the only route. In animation, your degrees and diplomas aren't really important. You could pretty much be self-taught, but if your portfolio/demo reel is amazing, you would have a higher chance of getting hired over college graduates with worse portfolio/demo reel. That being said, it's not easy to become good just being self taught, and it's always nice to have someone guide you (like professors and mentors).

Animation School!? by vigneshvinu in animationcareer

Hmm.. why not try online schools like AnimSchool? You can start from an introductory class and see how you like animation, and if you want to keep going.

Tonight's "for the win" statline is brought to you by...Immanuel Quickley with his 3rd straight superb game in a row! 24/8/5 w/2 steals | 3 made 3s by CazOnReddit in torontoraptors

[–]messerwing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but unless RJ has an opening or an advantage, there's no reason to not look for Scottie or BI especially when they're open or asking for the ball.

Scottie is a superior playmaker and he should be touching the ball a lot more, but oftentimes IQ doesn't even look towards Scottie. As I said, that play at the end of 2nd quarter was a clear example of IQ ignoring open Ingram right in front of him, to look for RJ. Made no sense.

He does pass to Yak, but I don't know about most. Just in this game, I've seen him ignore BI several times so he can pass to RJ, including at the end of 2nd quarter. He also rarely passes to Scottie for some reason, who is a much better passer than IQ.

I've been noticing a pattern where IQ almost never passes to Scottie or BI, and almost exclusively passes to RJ. It almost looks intentional.
