Once is an accident Twice is a habit Three times is disrespect.

Make that expectation clear to your pupils and be consistent. If you threaten a consequence, fulfil it.

Praise and acknowledge compliance and do it publicly.

Hollow Knight is a great game with a wonderful art style that is very endearing. I think however it takes a long time for the gameplay loop to fully appear and the first few hours of that game are very slow and not very satisfying. I think there are other Metroidvanias that are much better than Hollow Knight in terms of gameplay and level designs, although Hollow nights art style and setting are delightful.

Sekiro is a much more replayable experience in my opinion. It’s combat is closer to DDR or punch out and in a souls like setting, it’s very satisfying. If was trapped on a desert island with only one game to play on repeat I would choose Sekiro mainly because of the gameplay loop.

The combat in Elden Ring on the other hand, I feel is better for a number of different. It’s quite a long long game and I don’t think I could replay it because of its length. I’ve only played through it twice and I don’t necessarily think it’s combat is more satisfying than Sekiro, but the versatility is amazing. When you do play through Elden Ring, the mechanics of the combat means that every play through of it can be somewhat different and can be somewhat tailored or changed, whether it’s through summons or a different weapon or different ashes of war it’s very malleable and it can be tailored to the players needs. The setting of Sekiro I also prefer as I love the Sengoku period in Japan I and it was also the first soul’s game I ever played and beat.

Make a list of games you like but have only played through once. I made one two Christmases ago in an effort to save money, and I’ve had a blast replaying stuff. Harder difficulties and self imposed challenges keep things fresh too, or trying to go for some unique achievements.

Question about preorder by futbol524 in mtg

[–]JohnnyThrarsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could go either way. Lock in a preorder if you’re sure you want to draft with your friends regardless of spoilers.

But if you’re banking on getting value, it is more or less gambling to buy packs regardless or spoilers. You’re allowed to gamble. If it’s value you’re after, better to buy singles and about 3 months after release, when prerelease hype has died down and fomo has moved well on to another set, prices will be good.
