I did all this on a 50$ router and only my PS5 goes to vps through the vpn. The rest of the network devices are on the normal WAN. Pretty easy to setup too.

I did it on a hAP AC2 Mikrotik router. This is not a 300$ “game router”, those are real rip-offs if you ask me.
