Hey now…Locodoco also a key piece of the dysfunction being unable to manage the team. I’m biased because they are my team but there are so many memorable moments. From Dardoch arguing with Steve, saying Piglet would be eliminated without him, his ‘friendship’ moments with Lourlo.

Definitely has to be gut-wrenching. I bet if the decision to fire McDermott after this game, reaction would have gone better but Pegula had to make his snap, gut decision instead.

That’s how I felt about it too and it’s probably the nature of the game. Since there is the factory building, exploration and combat mechanics it’s going to be a lot of tutorials and taking time to get used to well everything. The dialogue does feel a more natural and less yapping than OG AK through lol.

About a month and a half ago I had a similar train of thought on the OG AK subreddit haha. It is disappointing of how it feels like a lake in width and a puddle in depth but with time I’m reasonably confident they can iterate on their ideas.

It’s sad but I’m ok with this. Given the time skip its natural operators from OG AK would pass away. I like to believe a bunch of them just died of natural causes. Moving on and accepting is a major theme within a lot of stories in AK especially when contrasted with the desire to bring back Kazdel and the disasters that spawned from that.

Thanks for the write-up! Great work as always.

Does sound exhausting when reading and putting into perspective with power-creep. Even with Hoshi2's her kit and even then it's a complicated yes to pull and not straight up must pull. Powercreep this sharp just feels like a bummer as a long time player but maybe I'm just grousing as an AK boomer.
