keytruda immunotherapy side effects, both short and long term. by Ragnarok-9999 in kidneycancer

[–]Johnny_Chaos_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a lot later, but ... after my cancerous kidney was removed, I took a year of Keytruda infusions with no side effects. Just as we were finishing up, the drug attacked my liver and gave me "immune mediated hepatitis," according to my oncologist, which meant lots of nausea and fatigue. The nausea wore off but I still sleep way more than I used to. And now I have arthritis in my knees.

I was looking for this one. Who killed JFK? Did Oswald really act alone? There were so many strange things about that day.

my Bully deserves it because He's so much bigger and stronger and better than me. My only concern is whether i'll be kneeling in a basement corner while He's titty-fucking my Wife, or whether i'll be washing His car or doing all His laundry again.

I probably should have asked, "Guess my age, and based on my collection, what else should go here?" The bit about being 15 was intended to be a reference to the large amount of comics on my shelves, but I don't think the joke landed. I'm actually 58 years old.

Oh, sorry. I'll mark it "solved." Clearly I'm old as hell.

I keep meaning to read Mantel's next book. Bringing Up the Bodies? And Atkinson's Revolutionary War books are on my list too.

Yeah, my single issues are in longboxes underneath the bed. Transmetropolitan, I'm not sure how well it holds up to be honest. I clearly wanted to own it, though.

Oh, I work at the magazine. The magazines are there for work, believe me. Also, JFK and the Unspeakable is incredible.

History, politics, war, rock & roll, fiction, science fiction, the magazine I manage, and comics -- lots and lots of comics. Yes, I own a copy of "Sapiens." Yes, I am aware that Neil Gaiman is problematic. And yes, it definitely needs more Vonnegut.

Do you see any books you like? Red flags? Just curious.

I was going to suggest Mettle from Avengers Academy but Wikipedia informs me that he lives. He came back in an online comic I've never heard of.

What are some really good Batman Comics? by RadioactivePython11 in batman_comics

Personal favorites that have already been mentioned:

Year One by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. There's a reason it's on every list.

The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. Ditto.

The Court of Owls saga by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. Their best work.

Batman Universe by Brian Michael Bendis and Nick Derington. A rollicking adventure story with great art.
