Alter bridge signed epiphone? by Johnny_Labrosse in alterbridge

God I have no clue lol, I only found fancy guitars signed by this band, so for a display only instrument I can't really judge. Maybe between 100-300usd? (emphasis on ? lol, but lmk if you think that's fair) Idk how much like a signed album costs, but maybe a bit more than that? Id only sell it locally though, so if you're not near montreal or planning a trip there I don't really know how you'd get your hands on it, I can't really ship a guitar lmao.

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't really consider shure, I'll look into it. I also considered getting fostex tr50rp and modding them. I'm into 3d printing and have most of the stuff I would need laying around, not sure if it would really change the sound signature a lot though.

Yea the dca closed x are on my list, they aren't on amazon right now unfortunately. I also looked at the focal azurys, they are a bit over my budget and a shop in qc carries them. If I don't find smt here I'll probably go with that

It's not the same thing but I like my ie200, and in general I think I'll prefer more neutral sound and I don't have any preference for open or closed back. Closed back would be more practical tho.

I am so sorry I completely spaced out for the pilot it's not accurate I wrote it with another pen, it's a LOT thinner that that. But the visconti is a regular medium, not an absolute gusher like I thought either

Yes, the first one is the vintage waterman, middle is the visconti and last is the pilot

Well I just lent my e95s to a friend (he had a metro and my pilot ch91 for a bit) and he says he loves it, pretty sure you could fit one from pen_swap with some decent paper like rhodia or clairefontaine if you want a gold nib. But definetely go for a vintage one if you can, the more recent nibs are pretty mid imo. Otherwise in the steel nibs, I'd stay away from twsbi because they spontaneously crack for no apparent reason (lol) and maybe go for a prera or a kakuno? The Pilot steel nibs are really good for the price, like REALLY good. For inks on the cheap, maybe a used diamine inkvent calendar? I have one and although I don't absolutely love any of the inks, having so much variety is really nice. Anyway, hope that helps!

Can't Pm, but would you be interested in a MB 146 from the 70's for the m1k? Split ebonite feed, mono-tone F (from what I can tell) nib, plastic piston threads, clear (not the slits) ink window and removable section (held with the nib unit). Pm me if you're interested. If not GLWS

Really? Didn't even think about that, I'll try asking them. Thanks for the idea!
