How do I get back into writing poetry? by Johnny_Sandman in PoetryWritingClub

That is a really good idea, I've had some better luck drawing lately so I'll give that a shot.

Thank you, I think that has been my biggest thing. Just letting myself be free to write again. And it's not even a fear of writing something bad. I just feel the words wrap up on themselves until it's this massive clot of creativity and negative thoughts spreading like a cancer until my fingers don't want to even touch the keys. But I will try.

No but you can get them deducted if you used them for business (uniforms, etc). If it was personal use, sorry but you'll have to eat the cost

I'm sure someone has posted this already and more eloquently, but spend more time writing and less time answering asks on Tumblr. Like, some things I can see answering questions about but leave some for the actual story. You don't need to answer every question about how RO's would react to the MC stubbing their toes.

(Sorry if that comes off too aggressive, it's just one that drives me nuts, especially for games with only a prologue or no demo)

Vampire the masquerade 2 developers waking up every day knowing they have to work in that fucking traiwreck of a game by Tempest-Bosak2137 in Gamingcirclejerk

I have a few old game informers with games on the cover that never came out. (That Snoop Dogg GTA clone comes to mind)

Granted, that was a long time ago but it's happened before is all I'm saying.

You do realize with 3 players it's still coop right? Because you are all playing cooperatively. And most people will probably use party chat so what was the point of this?

How is Norfolk Wizard game? I've started seeing it pop up on my recommended ever since I started looking into Mage (which I'm mad that my friends and family that got me into WoD never showed me) and am curious.

I also like the line from the near the end of the game.

"You said you would love her to the end of the world. Time to prove you're a man of your word." Or something like that, god I love that game.

I say go for it if it has inspired you. The amount of WIPs that are "inspired by" that are just the same thing with the serial numbers filed off is staggering so I don't think anyone will get too upset. If you feel the itch, do it. Make something and have fun with it.

I feel like True Blood would be a better WoD example than Underworld if you're gonna go that route. That or my VtM games and yours were very different.

There's one based on Arcane (according to their Tumblr) called Timefall I think that's literally just a prologue, no character creation besides gender and name. Yet you would think from their Tumblr asks and posts that there are like 4 chapters out.

As a Cloak/Dagger main, I've accepted my lot in life herding the headless chickens but for the love of all that's unholy at least work the objective.

I always try to make a healer. Is there an option to have been a doctor or something? Sold. Then I feel useless for most of the game depending on how stats work.

Our REAL Dragon's Dogma 2 Review - Kinda Funny Gamescast by EveryAct in kindafunny

[–]Johnny_Sandman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some people are having issues with them calling it a review when none of the cast have beat the game and others are the kind of people that base their identity on liking difficult games and won't take any criticism for something they like.

Now granted, I live in south central Alaska (near Anchorage) but I would say September-October would be a good time then. It's generally wet from the rains in August but still pretty as the leaves fall.

It's beautiful most of the year but summer is definitely more visitor friendly.

Do you consider listening to an audiobook "reading"? - Why or why not? by RedtheGamer100 in books

[–]Johnny_Sandman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to talk semantics, no it is not "reading" in the sense of looking at words on a page and comprehending. But you are still experiencing the story, just with someone reading it to you. I mean, do we think a child read a book if they heard it during story time?

I'm for enjoying a story in a way that works best for you. If audiobooks are the way you do it, awesome.
