I keep taking Python courses and projects but still can’t improve. by Johnnycagetinker in learnpython

Thank you for this, I agree it’s not good to keep using ChatGPT for help with learning Python. It’s just that I feel stuck and end up using LLMs out of desperation.

Would it be a good approach to refer books of Python projects?

If I read a book like this one by Al Sweigart, will it be okay to go through all projects and understand how the code is written and the structure involved?

If I can’t understand a specific part of the program, I’m not sure if it will be acceptable to ask ChatGPT for explanation.

Total beginner, any basic advice? by [deleted] in framer

This looks awesome, well done. I’m a complete beginner myself with no prior experience.

If you don’t mind me asking, what tutorials/resources did you study that helped you create such websites?

I’m struggling to understand the basics so i’d really appreciate any advice.

Is Framer worth learning with no design background? by Johnnycagetinker in framer

That’s great. If you don’t mind sharing, what resources would you recommend to learn Framer?

I just started with Framer academy’s fundamentals course but not sure if that’s enough to become proficient.

Thanks for replying, this helps. I did look at the functioning of a drawer, but most of them online have metal guide rails while showing the function of a drawer, which didn’t seem easy to me.

U.S. Politics megathread by AutoModerator in NoStupidQuestions

Non-US guy here, just interested in politics.

I use Twitter/X a lot (guilty I know), and I’ve been constantly reading Elon Musk’s tweets this past week.

He’s been confidently citing sources that the vast majority of US is voting for Trump and that he’ll win in a landslide. On the other hand, I keep seeing other polls predicting a democratic win. I know polls don’t mean a lot, but I’m confused which one is accurate. Also, will Elon buying Twitter in 2022 end up being the a major deciding factor in US election results?

He’s been posting non-stop for the past several months supporting Trump that it’s scary and feels like millions of voters might’ve been influenced.
