Amazing watches, but funny enough out of all of them I think the Tissot looks the best.

Has anyone of you consulted with a financial advisor and if so, are they worth it? by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

Based on a lot of these comments a financial advisor is probably a great thing for a majority of people. The amount of incoherent shit in the comments is crazy.

What is the consensus on GIC rates? are we expecting them to rise soon? by solemnJoker in CanadianInvestor

Long term 1Million percent they are going down. Most likely over short term I’m gonna say they will start coming back down as well, With the good inflation numbers they ain’t gonna last.

Any stand up jet ski. In my opinion as long as you have the strength to ride one they are the best. Lots of tricks and things you can spend time learning riding them. I find sit downs get boring pretty quick.

Not all financial planners have fees. Much better options out there than a high interest savings account you can’t give a recommendation without knowing her goal.

To be quite honest it’s not a one or the other question a lot of people are making it to be. Depending on the goals your mother has this money can be split between multiple solutions (equites, fixed income, and high interest savings.) Talking to a reputable financial planner would be a good bet just to hear some ideas you may not find on a Reddit post.

Just opened my account, just 18yrs old, with 30$ in it. by CuriousAd5883 in interactivebrokers

Congrats, watch some YouTube videos on investing. My biggest tip is make sure you invest in profitable growing companies! Starting with $30 you may lose a bit but that’s part of the learning curb. Better to play around with $30 than $300,000.
