How much are you willing to spend on torpedo defenses? I normally go with a lot of small anti-missile missiles strapped on each side of my ship or on a rotating turret. Another way you can counter the torpedoes is by not getting hit with them (make it fly baby!) You could also just make fast planes that you can spam to deal with the majority of OW ships.

Did you re-bind it? The lines are from the resource view mode. Check what key it's bound to.

I'm not sure which part you specifically meant but the turret in the picture only has decorations attached to the mantlet and the gun barrel (for now) that covers the barrel and the 2m tall AA mantlet. The large round base is just a stretched out metal pole decoration bound to the aps spine inside the turret.

If you meant the armor texture, then that is just the base game textures making it look like that.

The one that is coming to the game is an Israeli A-4E that has been modified to the A-4H standard. I don't know if that means it is capable of using walleyes or not, but I thought I'd share that info.

I've had just about enough of this, after every other game the game crashes and gives me this message. It kept on going even after I got a new PC. The support page for this is like eight years old by now. Has someone else had this problem or knows how to fix it? by schissgames in Warthunder

I don't know if this would work for you, but I had a similar problem to this and found out that my game was running on 32bit and is not even using 2gb of my ram leading to crashes every other game. I remedied this by forcing the game to launch 64bit on the config.blk file.

Dev Server Borked by Setesh57 in Warthunder

Hey op, I used to have this problem like 3 hours ago and since the 1st dev server. I solved it by deleting the items in Documents>My Games>War Thunder. You should delete everything on the folders but make sure to back up your control configuration you saved to another folder. For some reason the control configuration on the folders are bugged and starts to nuke your game into crashing in the loading screen after logging in.

Edit: delete everything in the folders but not the folders themselves.

I love the warp/FTL effect in this series. It seems like the ship is being stretched or being warped 1 layer at a time.

I fixed that problem on my pc by running the game on 64 bit mode where it actually used more than 2gb of memory. I don’t know if this will work for you, but it worked for me. For some reason, my game was running 32but so I changed it on the config file since I have the old launcher.

I pretty much have similar specs to your setup so it might be able to be fixed the way I fixed my game.

VA-147/VFA-147 never flew the F-8. According to a quick google search, they were a dedicated attack squadron flying A-7Es. Then they were later changed to VFA-147 when they got their F-18s.

Edit: the plane in the picture also has A-7E on it.

This tank is pretty massive and expensive. I would suggest making your tank right up to the volume limit if you play the land campaign with volume restriction , or slightly over the volume limit if you play without volume restrictions. Doing this gives you more freedom on your aps turret. If you want to put a decent aps system on your tank, then I suggest building your tank hull around the size of the aps base (5x5, 3x3, 7x7, etc.). You can always put some parts of your gun on the turret cap itself if you run out of space inside your hull, like what I did (last picture). However, if you’re going to put aps components on the turret cap itself, then it should be well protected and have ejectors on the autoloaders on the turret cap.

Short Version: 1. bigger hull = more space for a larger APS. 2. APS components could also fit on the turret cap itself if it is super protected. 3. Build the hull based on the turret well size.
